African Hunter & Outfitters is a professional, top-class, firearms and accessories retailer.

It is a one-stop shop for outdoor enthusiasts in South Africa. We offer a wide selection of firearms, accessories, knives, ammunition, hunting and fishing gear, and outdoor equipment.

African Hunter & Outfitters was registered in 2012, by Nick Neocleous, warmly known as “Nick die Griek”. Nick then sold the business to Ivan and Lalie Smith in 2018 and the business has since grown day by day.

Lalie represented South Africa as a Junior Springbok for the first time at the age 14, for .22 rifle range shooting discipline and has been involved in shooting and hunting for over 30 years. As an experienced hunter, in 2022, Lalie won the SASHF National Hunting Championships and she is the best person to meet all of your hunting and firearm-related inquiries.

With 330 square meters of floor space, the open shop provides a warm comfortable, enjoyable experience. With a large stock variety, you are sure to find any firearm related items you are looking for.

In 2023 we expanded the shop by incorporating fishing equipment by purchasing Keet’s Angling, a very well-known fishing retailer in Boksburg for many years, specifically targeting Freshwater anglers. This allowed African Hunter & Outfitters to offer rods, reels, fishing accessories, feeds, and muti’s to both social and experienced fishermen.
